How to store your sourdough bread

If you're planning to eat your bread a few days after baking, do refrigerate your sourdough bread within 4 hours after it has fully-cooled in an air-tight container.

If you're planning to store your bread for longer, freeze your bread in an air-tight container and it's freshness should keep for up to a month in the freezer.

We generally recommend not slicing your bread before refrigeration/ freezing for optimum freshness, as the bread will dry out more during re-heating.

How to re-heat your sourdough bread

When reheating, we recommend spraying some water on the bread or placing some water in a open container when reheating the bread in a pre-heated oven at 160C for 6-10 minutes. If you are using an air-fryer or toaster, re-heating for 5-7 minutes should suffice.
