There are many ways to get into sourdough baking, but one of the best ways is by reading one (or all) of these three great books on the subject.
1. "Flour, water, salt, yeast: The fundamentals of artisan bread and pizza" by Ken Forkish

2. "Open Crumb Mastery" by Trevor. J. Wilson
"Read the dough, not the clock"- To understand the fundamentals of baking an open crumb sourdough loaf, this book is an absolute MUST-READ. I cannot recommend this instructive book more! It is not meant for beginner bakers but those who have already started their sourdough bread-making journey who would like to level-up their skills and understanding of how sourdough works.
